A muzzle is a safety tool for short, supervised moments, not a way to stop barking or chewing. Never leave it on an unsupervised dog, and take it off at once if your dog pants heavily or struggles to breathe, especially flat-faced breeds, which overheat easily. Introduce it slowly with treats so it becomes a positive experience.

Measure the snout around its widest point (just below the eyes, mouth slightly open) and from the nose tip to the base of the eyes. If you're between sizes, choose the next size up.
