Dog Mouth Block
This tool will help you easily inspect your dog's teeth, gums, tongue, palate, and throat + brush their teeth.
To choose the correct size, measure the width of your dog's jaw just behind the canine teeth using a ruler or measuring tape.
- Measure only the jaw and teeth.
- Do not include the lips in your measurement.
- If your dog's measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger size.
Before introducing the bite block, a recommended progression is:
- Start with an intuitive object, such as a favorite toy, to give them an understanding of the "hold" behavior.
- Progress to a wooden or PVC dowel.
- Introduce the bite block.
