Tranquilizer Blowgun Set (Blowpipe and Blowdarts)

This blowgun is designed for short-range remote immobilization of animals from up to 9 meters (30 feet) away. It is simple to operate and particularly suited to veterinarians who occasionally need to safely administer tranquilizers to animals at close range, such as in clinics, farms, zoos, and wildlife reserves.

This kit includes:

• 2 × 28” anodized-aluminum tubes that connect
• 4 × 1 cc practice darts
• 1 x 1 cc fill syringe with 3 fill needles
  
• Carrying case

With appropriate veterinary drug selection and dosing, the system can be used for animals ranging from feral cats, dogs and monkeys to cows and bears. Its low-impact dart delivery is designed to minimize tissue trauma. 

To use:

• Place the dart at the end of the tube opposite the mouthpiece. Place your lips securely around the mouthpiece and position your target at the end of the tube while looking at it with both eyes. Take a deep breath through your nose and exhale sharply and forcefully into the mouthpiece in one quick burst. The force of your breath will propel the dart toward your target. With practice, you can achieve amazing accuracy. 
• The system is designed for use with 0.5 to 1 cc darts. Larger-capacity darts may also be used at close range.
